My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and compassionate space so that when they are ready, individuals can feel comfortable opening up about their emotions and experiences.
In addition to talk therapy, I also offer art therapy as a way to engage the mind and body on a deeper level. I am a Limited Licensed Counselor (LLC) and hold a Master of Arts in Art Therapy and Counseling from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). I take a non-judgmental stance and view therapy as a collaborative process. You are the expert on your own life.
I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults with a variety of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, and depression. I am also passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ folks. I believe growth occurs through a trusting therapeutic relationship and often use art, authenticity, and humor to create avenues of connection.
Together, we will honor your differences, tap into your strengths, and work towards change that is meaningful and important to you!
