You are the expert of your own life. This is the basic belief that guides my therapeutic practice.
My role as a therapist is to help each client identify, strengthen and understand their own behaviors in a better light, and to develop tools that empower them to take control of their own lives.
Everyone has the capacity to change and grow, and that change is best facilitated with structured support.
My goal is to lead a collaborative process with each client, allowing them to increase self awareness, gain new perspectives, decrease symptoms, and reinforce personal strengths. Together, we will identify your goals for therapy and work towards them.
I specialize in substance abuse/addiction, but welcome clients who are struggling with trauma, grief, self-esteem, relationship challenges, depression, anxiety, as well as a variety of other mental health issues.
I welcome clients of all backgrounds, beliefs, abilities, and identities.
As a co-ordinator for the Open Road Recovery program, to avail of this, please get in touch with our Grand Rapids offices.
