I am a Wayne State University and Michigan School of Psychology Graduate. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University, with a focus in Sociology and Psychology. I received my Master’s degree from the Michigan School of Psychology with a concentration on Humanistic psychology.
I have several years of child welfare experience and experience working with vulnerable adult populations, and I have much training in the areas of trauma and crisis intervention.
I also have experience providing therapeutic services to those suffering from addiction. I currently hold my temporary limited license of psychology and will be working under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
I practice within the Humanistic framework which focuses on empathetic understanding, honesty, human growth, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard.
My focus is to provide a safe environment for children, adults, and families and to foster growth and healing, while going through the journey of change with the client.
I believe “Small steps in the right direction can turn out to be the biggest steps of your life.”
