Dr. Wallace earned his Bachelor of Arts in Social Science and Psychology from the University of Michigan, his Master of Arts in Humanistic and Clinical Psychology from the Center for Humanistic Studies, later to become the Michigan School of Psychology (MSP) where he received his Doctor of Psychology in Humanistic and Clinical Psychology.
Dr. Wallace has more than 35 years of experience in the field of mental health. He has experience as a psychiatric emergency specialist, developed an Adolescent Day Treatment program for youth with substance use disorders and spent the last 25 years as psychologists in private practice.
Michael is a FairSky Foundation board member and current board president. In addition, he teaches masters and doctoral graduate students at MSP where he is a Core Faculty member.
He is a devoted practitioner of the humanistic approach to psychotherapy and believes that an effective client-therapist relationship must be established if therapy is to be successful.
