What is Therapy?
Therapy, also called psychotherapy or counseling, usually involves one or more persons talking with a licensed professional to discuss difficulties they might be having involving their feelings, behavior, thinking and/or relationship.
Individual Therapy usually consists of one person (often called a client or patient) working with one professional (usually called a therapist). Couple or Family Therapy usually consists of two or more individuals working with one or more professional. Group Therapy usually consists of between 3 - 12 individuals working with one or more therapists.
The goals of therapy are identified by the client (or clients) working collaboratively with their therapist
